As home design trends change, kitchen layouts have changed. Kitchens used to be like cramped closets stuffed with as many cabinets and shelves as possible.
The old Bauman kitchen was terribly partitioned off. The laundry room and closet left a narrow hallway between the kitchen and the dining room. The Bauman’s really wanted an open space.

For the Weinberg’s bathroom renovation, the goal was to increase the bathroom size to make it more space friendly as well as moving their laundry to the first floor. We moved one wall 18 inches into the bedroom and changed the bedroom into a laundry room.
